The Financial Sector Deepening Trust (FSDT) is inviting proposals from qualified Tanzanian firms or individuals to provide strategic advisory services in Digital Financial Services (DFS) and Financial Sector Infrastructure from July 2025 to June 2027.
The selected advisor will support FSDT’s DFS and Infrastructure Development team and provide market intelligence to the Senior Management Team.
The scope of work includes providing technical support on interventions such as the Industry/Gendered Alternative Credit Scorecard, implementation of a Shared Microfinance Core Banking System, and input into FSDT’s digital finance strategies.
The advisor will also contribute to FSDT knowledge content and identify strategic alliances and stakeholders to support inclusive financial services development.
Proposals must meet several mandatory criteria, including Tanzanian nationality, at least 16 years of experience in financial inclusion with strategic DFS engagement, implementation of management information systems, and prior collaboration with key sector stakeholders such as the Ministry of Finance, Bank of Tanzania, CMSA, and TIRA.
Applicants must also submit full KYC documentation, a technical proposal not exceeding three pages, and a financial proposal in TZS.
The deadline for proposal submission is 14 August 2025 at 17:00 EAT.
