Stanbic Bank Tanzania recently reopened its branch in Mwanza to improve the banking experience of the increasing number of customers in the region.
The Stanbic branch is now located in the Rock City Mall in Mwanza and offers a private banking suite, as well as ATM services.
Mwanza Regional Commissioner, John Mongella, said that Mwanza’s growing business community presents an opportunity to financial institutions to extend their services in the region.
Stanbic Bank Tanzania is a full service commercial bank which specializes in providing facilities and services to public and private sector corporations, diplomatic missions and international organizations.
Ken Cockerill, CEO at Stanbic Bank Tanzania, said in a recent interview with TanzaniaInvest: “Our focus [in Tanzania] is on all the key growth sectors: agriculture, telecommunications, oil and gas, power and infrastructure, fast-moving consumer goods etcetera. […]We see Tanzania as an important growth opportunity.”
