The 11th East African Petroleum Conference and Exhibition (EAPCE’25) will take place from March 5 to March 7, 2025, at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The conference, organized by the East African Community (EAC), will bring together key industry players, policymakers, investors, and stakeholders to discuss the role of petroleum resources in the region’s energy mix.
Unlocking Investment in Future Energy
Under the theme “Unlocking Investment in Future Energy: The Role of Petroleum Resources in the Energy Mix for Sustainable Development in East Africa,” the event aims to promote investment in the oil and gas sector by showcasing opportunities across the EAC Partner States—Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Tanzania.
The conference will highlight ongoing exploration and production activities, policy and regulatory frameworks, infrastructure development, revenue management, and the transition to a sustainable energy future.

Key Features of EAPCE’25

Dr. Doto Mashaka Biteko, Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Energy of the United Republic of Tanzania, emphasized the significance of the event, noting that attending the conference will provide an opportunity to engage with key stakeholders in the East African petroleum industry. He also highlighted the natural beauty and attractions of Tanzania, including the Zanzibar Isles, the Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti, and various national parks such as Ruaha, Tarangire, and Mikumi.
